FREEPORT — Mary J. Bailey, 89, formerly of Portland, died April 10 at the Hawthorne House.
She was born Nov. 3, 1923, in Portland, a daughter of John R. and Mary Carroll.
She was predeceased by her husband, Everett L. Bailey; and her brothers, Richard Carroll and Raymond Carroll.
She is survived by her son, Michael Bailey; grandchildren Lisa Bailey Carroll, Michael Bailey Jr. and Lewis Moynihan III; and her sister, Nancy Bowser. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
