BATH — Martine Mariana Chapman, 58, died Nov. 12, at Winship Green Nursing Home following a battle with brain cancer.
She was born Nov. 1, 1957, in Canada, the daughter of Denis and Marie Anne Fortier. She was educated in Canadian schools until her family moved to Biddeford in 1968.
On April 20, 1979, she married David Chapman.
Chapman worked in private homes as a housekeeper for more than 40 years. She enjoyed cleaning and being with her daughters and other family members. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
She leaves behind two daughters, Mindi Chapman, of Belleview, Florida and Casandra Chapman, of Topsham; one stepdaughter, Angela Benevides, of Punta Gorda, Florida; a stepson, Buddy Chapman, of Concord, Vermont; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild, two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
