TOPSHAM — Martha C. Downing, 80, died June 24 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was a teacher for many years while living in New Jersey before retiring to Topsham in 2005. The family vacationed at their home in western Massachusetts.
Downing is survived by her four children, Christy Lopez, Lindsay Schiafo and husband Russell, Shelley Mazzarino and husband John, and Paul Cook Downing IV and his wife Dana; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Maine arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home.
