As onlookers snap photos and shoot video, 10 same-sex couples take part in a mass marriage ceremony at Deering Oaks Park on Saturday, June 15, in Portland, as part of the 27th annual Southern Maine Pride Parade & Festival. The ceremony celebrated the recent legalization of same-sex marriage in Maine; the theme of this year’s Pride event was “Marry ME.”
