FREEPORT — Marion “Mary” Louise Bockus, 61, died with her family by her side on April 24.
She was born Nov. 26, 1950, and battled cancer for the last two years of her life. Her friends and family will remember her as someone who touched their lives. Her strength and determination was a gift to those who knew her.
Bockus is survived by her husband, David, a daughter, two sons, nine grandchildren and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on April 27 at Burr Cemetery in Freeport.
