SOUTH PORTLAND — A man robbed the Big Apple convenience store at 334 Cottage Road around 11:20 Wednesday night, according to police.
The man made off with a small amount of cash. Police said no weapon was displayed, but that the robber implied he had one.
The suspect kept his face covered, but was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 130 pounds and approximately 20 years old. He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt and black jeans with stained knees.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Detective Matt Cyr at 799-5511 ext. 7417.
