PORTLAND — A man faces Class A robbery charges after his arrest Sunday for allegedly robbing the Rite Aid at 290 Congress St. last Thursday night.

Daniel Macisaac, 24, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Friday, according to Police Lt. James Sweatt. He is accused of entering the Rite Aid at 8:45 p.m. Thursday and demanding cash from a clerk. Macisaac allegedly claimed to have a gun, but did not display a weapon before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was arrested at 211 Cumberland Ave. on Sunday after an investigation by police detectives, Sweatt said.
