PORTLAND — Routine maintenance work on the Machigonne II could last for the next five weeks and will alter car ferry service to Peaks Island, according to a Casco Bay Lines news release.
Peaks Island-based Lionel Plante Associates will handle car ferry services, using its Island Avenue location to link with the CBL terminal in Portland. Reservations are required to use the car ferry, and can be made by calling 774-7871. The revised car ferry schedule is posted at the CBL website.
Passenger ferry service remains unchanged.
