FALMOUTH— Lynnette S. Feeney, 63, of Falmouth died Sept. 8, at Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.
Feeney was born in Saco, Nov.19, 1949, the daughter of Robert E. Jr. and Barbara E. Pittfield. She attended local schools and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in the Class of 1968. Feeney then attended the Gorham State Teachers College.
She married Daniel J. Feeney in Old Orchard Beach, on Sept. 9, 1978.
Feeney worked for many years as an executive secretary with Porteous Department Store before her health forced her to retire early. In her spare time she enjoyed her hobby of photography. She had a great love for animals, but especially loved watching and feeding the birds and photographing butterflies. She enjoyed gardening and reaching out to her friends all over the country, using her computer.
Feeney was predeceased by her parents and her husband, on Dec. 10, 2002.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey R. and wife Lynda Feeney; two grandsons Zach and Daniel Feeney, and her brother Dennis and wife Susan Pittfield.
At the family’s request, services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 172 State Street, Portland.
