YARMOUTH — The free Lunch Crunch program on June 21 began its fourth year providing meals to children facing food insecurity.

The partnership between Yarmouth Community Services and Yarmouth Cares About Neighbors will run through Aug. 31,  serving children ages 2 to 18. The program started in 2014 as a free lunch service, but has since expanded to provide breakfast and a half-day camp at the Yarmouth Pointe Apartments at 1 Juniper Drive.

Breakfast is served at 8:45 a.m. and lunch is served at 11:45 a.m., with no eligibility restrictions.

Last year the program provided more than 1,900 meals.
