TOPSHAM — Lucy Ann Neron, 72, died May 25 at her home with family by her side after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Brunswick, on Aug. 10, 1936, the daughter of Clementine V. Cloutier and attended Brunswick Schools.

On Feb. 19, 1954, she married Louis J. Neron.

For 30 years, she worked at Parkview Memorial Hospital, eventually retiring as an operation room technician. Her family and occupation were her greatest joys in life.

She was a former commander and member of the American Legion Post 202 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis on Aug. 9, 2006.

Surviving are five sons Paul F. of Lisbon, David A. and his wife Coreen of Lisbon Falls, Robert L. of Topsham Ronald L. of Richmond and John G. Neron of Durham; two grandsons, James L. Neron of Lisbon Falls and Michael A. Neron of Harpswell; two great-grandchildren James Tyler and McKenzie Neron, both of Lisbon Falls.

Memorial services were held last week.
