SOUTH PORTLAND — Lucille Annette Lecomte Morin, 92, of South Portland, died June 21.

Morin was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Saint-Gregoire-de-Montmorency, Quebec, a daughter of Laureat and Rose (Robert) Lecomte. At age 4 months, she immigrated with her family and lived in Manchester, New Hampshire until 1962, when her husband was transferred to South Portland.

Lucille’s entire life was devoted to her husband and family. She was known for her sense of humor, and loved gardening in her yard.

Morin was communicant of Holy Cross Church in South Portland.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Gordon H. Morin, who died July 18, 1997, and by her son, Bruce G. Morin, who died Aug. 9, 1973.

She is survived by three sons, Gary H. Morin and his wife, Joanne, of Auburn, Brian J. Morin Sr. and his wife, Claudia, of Bridgton, and Keith J. Morin and his wife, Kim, of Shapleigh; a daughter, Eleanor L. Morin Chauvette, of Manchester, New Hampshire; two brothers, Robert Lecomte and his wife, Lee, of Goffstown, New Hampshire, and Raymond Lecomte and his wife, Ann, of South Portland; a sister, Rita Cross, of California; her sister-in-law, Irene McGlone, of Manchester, New Hampshire; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m., at New Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
