BRUNSWICK – Louis V. “Pee Wee” Ouellette, 79, passed away peacefully Sept. 28.

He was born in Brunswick, April 25, 1936, the son of Vital E. and Arline Benoit Ouellette. He graduated from Brunswick High School.

Ouellette was a logging and pulpwood contractor for many years. He later opened the Tired Logger Restaurant at the Brunswick Golf Course. For the past 20 years Ouellette ran a tree and landscaping business, a reflection of his favorite pastime, which was growing flowers.

Ouellette also enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing golf in Lakeland, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Patty, of 58 years; two sons, Danny and Jimmy; a daughter, Bonnie; six grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, Dylan, Danielle, Hunter and Logan; a great-grandchild, Cooper Scott; and his sister, Sue Atwood, of Topsham.

A celebration of his life was held Oct. 4 at the Brunswick Elks Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
