The 10th anniversary of Longfellow Days in Brunswick brought together three Maine poet laureates on Saturday, Feb. 1, for a discussion and reading at Bowdoin College’s Kresge Auditorium: Wesley McNair, left, Betsy Scholl and Baron Wormser. The program was started by then-Gov. Angus King, now a U.S. senator, who was scheduled to host Saturday, but could not attend due to the birth of a grandson. Longfellow Days events continue through Feb. 27, and coincide this year with the sesquicentennial of the Civil War.
