PORTLAND — Logan Place, a supportive housing facility for the homeless, will become more handicapped-accessible with the help of a $100,000 grant recently awarded to its developer, Avesta Housing.

The grant is from the TD Charitable Foundation’s “Housing for Everyone” competition, which awarded funds for local affordable housing initiatives to 25 nonprofit organizations on the East Coast.

The apartment building at 52 Frederic St. in the Libbytown neighborhood, offers housing for 30 men and women.
