The Southern Maine Flame U-18 softball team won the Barbara Hamilton Memorial tournament in Hudson, New Hampshire on the July 30-31. The squad outscored their opponents 31-1 in three pool play games and then won three one-run victories on elimination day to win the championship. The Flame defeated the Hudson Heat Gold of New Hampshire, 4-3, in the finals.
