Odyssey Sport 97’s U-14 girls’ team won the 2010 Oakwood Premier Invitational tournament in Glastonbury, Conn, over the Memorial Day weekend. The team faced tough competition from top teams out of Connecticut and New York. The team won the championship with a 2-1 win over Northeast United Premier from Connecticut.

The team featured Cape Elizabeth’s Phoebe Shields, Cumberland’s Elyse Dinan, Falmouth’s Marysa Alexander, Laura Bauer, Mary Catherine Kowalsky, Brianna Russell and Taylor Russell and Scarborough’s Allie Diegnan. Other team members were Amanda Arnold, Samantha Bell, Allison Coburn, Ariana Davidson, Alyssa Gilbert, Emily Gilman, Kate Hopkins, Megan Hurrell, Kate Kneeland, Lauren Shoemaker and Lauren Stiles.

Lenny Hurrell and Jenelle Harris served as coaches.
