The Maine Waves lacrosse team, featuring players from all four Forecaster coverage areas, took part in the 2009 Xtreme tournament earlier this month at Harvard University. The team reached the semifinals thanks to a 7-6 win over the host Mass Elite team, in a game played at historic Harvard Stadium.
