Emma McCauley of South Portland, along with Kennebunk’s Abby Lamontagne and New Gloucester’s Abby Matusovich, were part of the East Coast Wizards U-16 Tier 1 girls’ hockey team that won the Mass State Hockey Championship last Sunday and earned a trip to compete in the USA Hockey U16 Tier I Nationals in Anaheim, California in April, 2019. Matusovich had the shutout win in the finals as the team beat the Boston Jr. Eagles 1-0. The Wizards are currently ranked fifth in the country for U-16 Tier 1 teams.
