Little League team repeats as champion

Portland House of Pizza beat State of Mind, 11-1, for the 2010 Portland North Little League championship last Monday, repeating as champions in the process. Dan Marzilli pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and also had two hits, including a home run and two RBI. Jack Casale had a double with two runs scored, Tim Baker had two doubles and scored three runs and Griffin Foley had a triple to lead PHOP. PHOP was the top seed and State of Mind, as the league runner-up, also represented Portland North Little League in the City of Portland tournament.
