BATH — Linda L. (Gilliam) Wallace, 72, died March 24.

She was born July 9, 1942, in West Point, to Freeman and Vida Gilliam. She attended Morse High School, in Bath.

In 1964, she married Lafayette Wallace, and the couple resided in Phippsburg to raise their family. When she was not taking care of children or grandchildren, she enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilt-making. She also loved listening to music and watching her great-grandchildren dance.

On Sundays, she could be found playing Bingo with her friends or testing her luck on scratch tickets. But her most precious moments were those spent with family and friends.

Wallace was predeceased by her husband, Lafayette; a sister-in-law, Sarah Wallace; a sister, Regina Gilliam; and a nephew, Bobby Ridgewell.

Wallace is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Robert Ridgewell, of Small Point; her children, Holly Wallace and husband, Philip, of Phippsburg, Troy McNeill and partner, Gerry Christopher, of Phippsburg, Todd Wallace and wife, Billie-Jo, of Brunswick, Abby Wallace and fiance, Ronald Coulombe, of Brunswick, and Jennifer Gonyea and husband, Christopher, of Bowdoinham; her grandchildren, Megan Doughty Rogers and husband, Ethan, Philip Wallace, Todd Wallace and wife, Jenny, Katie Breck and husband, Jesse, Brian Doughty and fiancee, Katie Pinkham, Laura Morgan, Timothy Morgan, Maggie Wallace, Benjamin Wallace, Olivia Doughty, and Emily Wallace; her great-grandchildren, Brayden Ward, Jackson Reno, Lilly Breck, Emma Rogers, Lucy Ryan and Kadence Doughty; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service and celebration of life will be held in June.
