SCARBOROUGH — Linda L. Bragdon, 69, died peacefully March 19 at Pine Point Nursing Center, following a long illness.

She was born Oct. 12, 1945, in Portland, the daughter of Leroy B. and Dorothy I. Black Levangie. She attended local schools and graduated from Scarborough High School in the class of 1964.

Although disability prevented Bragdon from working much of her life, she was an avid volunteer with veterans of the armed services. She loved playing beano, and was a dedicated fan of Elvis Presley.

Bragdon was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harold L. Bragdon, in 1995; and a brother, Paul Levangie.

She is survived by a son, Leroy P. Crockett, of Scarborough; and three grandchildren, Jordan Brackett, Travis Crockett and Madison Crockett.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on March 24 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, in Scarborough. Burial will be in the spring at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, Westbrook.
