HARPSWELL — Lillian F. Maney, 75, died March 21 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
Born in Brunswick June 6, 1935, she was a daughter of Harvey and Christine Morgan Dunning, and attended Brunswick schools.
At age 55 she graduated from Mt. Ararat High School, and received her high school diploma.
Primarily a homemaker, she also worked at HealthTex for several years and helped her husband with his clam business.
She was a member of the Word of God Fellowship Church in Brunswick, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making cakes.
She was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Dunning.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Harold W. Maney, Sr; four children, Harold W. Maney, Jr., and his companion Mary of Bailey Island, Cheri Webber and her husband Reg of Harpswell, Michele Goodenow and her husband John of Topsham, and Christi Moody of Orr’s Island; two brothers, Jack Dunning and his wife Cheryl of Great Island, and Ronnie Dunning and his wife Nancy of Bowdoin, and a sister, Mabel Mesplay and her husband Charlie of Woolwich; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held last week.
Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
