FALMOUTH — A troupe of teenagers actors from Kansas will be making their first appearances in Maine this weekend for two performances of “Life in a Jar.”

The play tells the story of Irena Sendler, a social worker who rescued more than 2,500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.

The play will be shown at 7 p.m Saturday, May 17, and noon Sunday, May 18, at Falmouth High School. The suggested donation is $10 per person. Doors open one hour before each showing. For more information, visit www.irenasendler.org.

Students and volunteers at the REAL School on Mackworth Island are providing logistical support for the production.
