I just wanted to write to you and let you know that I was extremely pleased to see the charming article about Officer Mike Vogel and his K-9, Sultan. Sultan most definitely deserved some recognition after nearly eight years of service in the Yarmouth community, as did Vogel. As a German shepherd owner myself, I had many great conversations with Vogel over the years regarding the breed and I enjoyed watching Sultan become a local fixture as well as a crime fighter. They will both be missed.
