I watched David Ray’s public comments at Yarmouth’s special meeting on the petition that would prevent town and school employees from serving on the Town Council. Although Mr. Ray was speaking against the petition, his demeanor, tone of condescension and utter contempt for those who might support the petition only confirmed to me the importance and need of having a fair and balanced Town Council.
