While many people write political support letters after meeting that person for just a few minutes, I’m proud to say that I’ve known state Senate District 25 Democratic candidate Steve Woods and his family for many years. Steve has always been involved in every aspect of our community in Yarmouth. As our former chairman of the Planning Board and over many years on our Town Council, Steve’s leadership has been a constant presence as an active supporter of our wonderful school system, community sports, and activities such as our Clam Festival.
For me, knowing that Steve is a strong and vocal supporter of the Affordable Care Act, along with the expansion of MaineCare, I am confident in recommending him to every voter in Cumberland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Gray, Westbrook, Chebeague and Long Island.
