I am writing to strongly support the candidacy of Steve Woods, who is running in the Democratic primary in state Senate District 25.
Steve is a successful entrepreneur who founded and runs a number of businesses, including TideSmart Global, from his eco-friendly headquarters in Falmouth. But Steve is more than just a businessman. He is also involved in politics, serving as chairman of the Town Council in Yarmouth, where he lives with his wife Katie and three children.
Over the last few years Yarmouth’s tax revenues have been substantially reduced by decreased activity at Wyman Station. Despite this, real estate taxes are going down this year. And with no drastic reduction to town services and while maintaining excellent schools. Steve and the council deserve huge credit for this.
Steve is smart, kind and thoroughly decent. I strongly recommend you join me in voting for him.
