This June, Democrats in state Senate District 25 have an opportunity to nominate an entrepreneur with civic values and a commitment to stewardship. If we elect Steve Woods our next state senator for Chebeague, Cumberland, Falmouth, Gray, Long Island, Yarmouth and a portion of Westbrook, we’ll have someone who knows what it’s like to meet payroll, set goals, overcome obstacles and implement ideas.

Woods has already brought quality jobs and millions in out-of-state investment to our community bolstering Falmouth’s tax base. As a Yarmouth official, Steve has demonstrated how to plan and implement a public budget. His example of leadership has encouraged others to share their voice and strive to make a difference. He donated 100 percent of his town stipend to local low-income energy assistance, and, if elected, has promised to rebate his senatorial salary to local schools.

This uncompromising, undeniable dedication makes Steve Woods the obvious choice on June 10.
