Steve Woods talks the talk and walks the walk. I met him 13 years ago when he moved into my neighborhood. As neighbors, we see each other and chat. We touch on subjects like town politics. Steve never sat on the sidelines, but rolled up his sleeves and served on Planning Board and now Town Council while showing interest in state matters. He has always expressed his love for this community and the state of Maine.
During these 12 years, Steve created TideSmart when other businesses were downsizing or closing their doors. It has since grown from a handful of employees to almost 100 with no end in sight, and that is impressive.
Steve thinks big while focused on community. He understands economic growth without compromising natural resources and also has a strong social conscience.
I’ll be voting for Steve Woods in the June 10 Democratic primary, and I encourage you to vote for him, too.
