The future of the Wyman Power Station (economic and environmental) and its destiny is a complex issue with far-reaching implications for Yarmouth, Casco Bay, the state and beyond. On June 10 we head to the polls to consider candidates the Senate District 25 Democratic primary, including Steve Woods.

Mr. Woods is the only candidate with a thorough and thoughtful position outlined on his website, backed up by his many years on the Yarmouth Town Council actively engaged on this critical issue.

Effectively transitioning the Wyman plant from an economic dinosaur and environmental eyesore into something more viable requires leadership from someone who has managed projects of this scope and scale. Steve Woods has demonstrated these skills, and I’m urging my fellow residents to please research the issue and support Woods with your vote on June 10.
