I want to thank all of Brunswick for voting, and of course, I especially want to thank all who voted for me. Once again, I am humbled by the commitment and sense of community that is ever-present in Brunswick, and honored to be entrusted with part of its future.

I also want to thank Whitney Parrish for running. I got to know her as we campaigned together at several events. The 14 hours together at the polls is certainly a bonding experience. She is a warm, intelligent, involved person, and certainly a worthy opponent. I hope she will continue to be involved and bring her knowledge to town issues and committees.

As for the people of Brunswick, it is clear they feel a duty and obligation to be the best that citizens can be, by showing their strength in getting out to vote. I saw civic duty in action, and it made me very proud to be a citizen of Brunswick. I promise I will do my best to serve, to listen, to investigate, and try to make the best-informed decisions, based on what is best for the current and the future direction of our beautiful town.

Once again, thanks for getting out and voting and thanks for supporting and putting your trust in me, I will try to live up to the honor of being elected.
