Hey Trump supporter, I get it, you’re angry. A lot of us are angry about a do-very-little government and a decimated middle class. But that’s no reason to throw our democracy under the bus by electing someone wholly unqualified and unfit to be president.

Where have you been? When was the last time you attended a city council meeting, or called your senator or availed yourself of more than one source of news? Or for that matter, voted?

Democracy isn’t a spectator sport. Elect competent people and then hold their feet to the fire. If you’re sick of the way things are, ask yourself: “What have I done for my democracy lately?”
