Rankled by ranked choice voting? Confused by the complexity? Not sure of its necessity? Wondering why now?

Probably at least one of the above has occurred to every voter contemplating Question 5. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I do believe that the winner of any election should have the support of a majority of the voters. Ranked choice voting does this without having separate run-off elections, which are generally considered too impractical to conduct on a routine basis.

I am voting yes on Question 5 because I believe that it is the best way to elect officials who actually reflect the will of the voters. Majority rule is part of our heritage and ranked choice voting seems to me to be a viable way to accomplish this basic tenet of American government.
