As a 13-year resident of Falmouth and as a former trustee of Falmouth Memorial Library, I am in favor of the library expansion.

The library is open for use by all people, young and old, and the expansion of the library’s space will meet growing needs for all patrons. The Town Council has heard that the library has significant needs and repairs in the current library which come with a cost. Recent history has informed us that Falmouth residents would like the library to stay in its current location, close to the business district. This plan would improve safety and infrastructure as well as enhance connectivity to Route 1. The library expansion is designed to meet the minimum square footage presently needed by our town and can accommodate more space in the future if our needs grow.

I encourage you to vote yes for the library.
