We in Cumberland are so lucky to have Republican Mike Timmons as a candidate in House District 45. Mike is a hard worker with a truly impressive record of accomplishment on the key issues of fiscal responsibility and education. Maine High School Principal of the Year was just one of Mike’s accolades in a long and successful career as a teacher, a principal and an assistant superintendent. Mike has also had a lifelong interest in horses and farming, and was named Agriculture Person of the Year in 2012. Mike has served as president of the Cumberland Farmers Club for the past six years, where his excellent leadership and fiscal management skills have been evident. Congratulations to Mike and all members of the Farmers Club for recently putting on the second-largest Cumberland Fair in its 143-year history.
