I support Republican Rick Snow for Yarmouth state representative in District 47. I attended a candidates night and was extremely impressed with Snow’s background and experience. But more importantly, I saw a loving father, attentive son and caring candidate. He’s passionate about solving Maine’s greatest challenges: jobs for the young, like my son; affordable services for retirees, like me.

He called Maine a glorious natural environment in which to raise a family and ultimately retire. But he emphasized Maine is getting old. Other states offer better jobs to graduates of our world-class educational institutions. Sadly, children leave to raise families elsewhere. School enrollments plunge, school budgets still jump. Taxes strain seniors who stay. It is unsustainable.

But Snow’s success in public- and private-sector careers provides the experience to help legislators institute policies guaranteeing better opportunities for younger and older Mainers to thrive, in Maine. Vote Rick Snow.
