We have known Richard Rottkov, who is seeking the Democratic nomination in House District 32, for many years as a friend, neighbor and valuable member of the South Portland community. He is a tireless worker for the benefit of our city and its people, having served on countless grassroots organizations, including the South Portland Land Trust, the South Portland Trails Advisory Group, South Portland Open Space Committee, and the Community Development Advisory Committee.
He is a great supporter of education and recreational opportunities for our children, having been active in youth sports and as an officer of South Portland High School Boosters. He was also instrumental in the successful campaign to pass the bonding needed to renovate South Portland High School.
Richard’s long and active commitment to the people of South Portland will make him a fine advocate and representative for our community’s values and interests in Augusta.
