Thank you, School Administrative District 51, for discussing the construction of a performing arts center in earnest for many years and for giving us the opportunity to voice our opinion on Nov. 8 by supporting the superintendent recommendation.
My hope is that all voters will be respectful and provide accurate information when sharing with our neighbors. We can continue to be good neighbors and not reticent voters this year as we revisit the plan for a PAC to serve the district’s curricular and communities’ cultural needs.
Vote yes to issue bonds or notes for construction purposes and then let the private fundraising begin to help reduce the bond amount at the completion of the construction project.
