On May 10 the voters of South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and part of Scarborough will be casting ballots for their school budgets, and electing a state senator. To continue supporting a cornerstone of our society, I would encourage you to support our children and the education budget of South Portland.

As some of our elected officials in Augusta continue to dismantle successful established laws, let us address the real issues facing Mainers by supporting Rep. Cynthia Dill in Senate District 7. Dill has worked hard in Augusta, does her homework and works well with all parties to bring positive results. Dill’s concern for the environment, social services, education, labor, human rights and a planned approach to jobs creation is evident by her voting record. Radical changes are not the answer. Electing a senator who listens to and sits with all interested parties to establish a solid plan for our future is a better answer for Mainers.
