Roger Beeley is running for the Scarborough Town Council. I think that is great news and urge all Scarborough residents to wholeheartedly support his candidacy. I met Roger well over 25 years ago after coming to work for the Scarborough Economic Development Corp. I have worked with him on a number of projects and issues relating not only to economic development, but to the needs of the community as a whole.
I have been impressed time and time again by Roger’s willingness to take on difficult issues, balance opposing views and come up with workable and positive solutions. He is not a person who makes uninformed decisions. I believe that these are the attributes that will make Roger an effective town councilor when dealing with the important issues facing the community in the future. I urge all Scarborough residents to vote for him.
