I enthusiastically support Ralph Tucker in the Democratic primary for Brunswick’s state representative from House District 50.

Ralph’s qualifications are obvious. Service on Brunswick’s School Board and Town Council, chairman of the state’s Workers Compensation Commission, and service as a District Court judge show that he works effectively and constructively with those of differing backgrounds and views. This is vital in the present partisan climate.

But most important is Ralph’s strong personal integrity and the ethics that govern his personal and professional life. I examined ethical dilemmas while serving on the Connecticut Bar’s ethics committee, and have held seminars on ethics in banking and in heavy industry. I drafted conflict of interest policies adopted by the Boothbay Region YMCA and town of Boothbay. I know that Ralph’s unimpeachable integrity and ethical character make him especially well qualified to hold public office. I will happily vote for him in the upcoming primary.
