Robbie Foundation would like to thank the community for coming out to the Maine Mall during the last two weeks with gifts to “Wrap for a Reason.” Robbie Foundation offered free gift wrapping at the Maine Mall from Nov. 25-Dec. 9. Many community members and business owners came out with gifts to be wrapped for their loved ones and gave generous donations to our organization.
Robbie Foundation is a Scarborough-based nonprofit organization focused on helping children with special needs. Over the past five years the organization has funded over $250,000 of equipment, technology and therapy treatments to children in need. Many families of children with special needs lack the funds to provide basic daily essentials and safety equipment that is needed to care for their child. This need is so great that the Robbie Foundation can only fund 25 percent of the requests that come in. During this holiday season, your donations are so crucial. Thank you to everyone who came out during this festive event in the season of giving.
