Topsham needs to send a representative to Augusta who will support Mike Michaud’s economic plan. Like Mike, Democrat Denise Tepler believes that all Mainers deserve economic opportunity and good-paying jobs.
As vice-chairwoman and then chairwoman of the Topsham Finance Committee, Denise experienced first-hand the local budget problems caused by the LePage administration’s cuts to revenue sharing. Under Gov. LePage the state has skirted its responsibility when it comes to the Topsham community.
We can’t give tax cuts to the wealthy or allow corporate tax loopholes to continue when Maine families are faced with rising property taxes. When the state breaks its promise to our towns, it hurts every taxpayer. Denise Tepler will fight for a stronger middle class by investing in education, health care and meeting our obligations to our communities.
This is why Denise Tepler will get my vote for state representative in House District 54 on Election Day.
