Republican Kim Talbot has worked for large and small businesses and has owned a business. She understands the plight of business in Maine and of the worker. She wants to help people, not support them.

Businesses need the support of the Legislature. The better a business does the more employees and the more money spent in the economy. We can’t continue to raise taxes on business and individuals without paying attention to the effect the tax burden is having on people and businesses.

Talbot and her husband have raised two children in Topsham and have been active in supporting school activities. Both children attended University of Maine system schools. Talbot is aware of issues facing both local public schools and the state university system.

Voting for Kim Talbot for state representative in House District 54 is a vote to support reasonable and intelligent thinking in Augusta.
