Steve Moriarty is thoughtful and intelligent, listens well and works to find common ground. In his previous tenure in the state Legislature (2012-2014), he reached across the aisle, earning respect of colleagues and constituents along the political spectrum. He served on the Cumberland Town Council for almost 20 years, chaired the Planning Board, and ran the local land trust, among other civic commitments. He has worked to preserve open space and rural traditions that honor our heritage. At the same time, he is fiscally moderate, determined to reduce property taxes by restoring full revenue sharing and 55% contribution to public schools. I enthusiastically support Democrat Steve Moriarty in House District 45.
