As a conservation professional, I appreciate but am not surprised by the strong leadership of state Sen. Brownie Carson, D-Harpswell, on behalf of Maine’s environment, from securing passage of one of the toughest mining laws in the country, to ensuring that our state parks are well maintained for public enjoyment.

What I’ve been most impressed by, however, is Brownie’s commitment to help the people of Maine. To this end, he introduced a bill to restore Maine’s public health nursing program, which provides communities with preventative health services, and helps prevent disease outbreaks in Maine. By his leadership, public health nursing in Maine will finally be restored.

Brownie is tenacious when it comes to looking out for the well-being of all Mainers. For this reason I’m thrilled he is running for re-election in Senate District 24. He has my support, and I hope he has yours as well.
