We are students writing in support of Yarmouth’s plan to expand its schools. By voting yes on the two school bonds, the citizens of Yarmouth will reestablish their support of their youth.

We invite all Yarmouth citizens to visit our high school. Strolling the halls, you will see teachers who have an office in a closet and students who might be having a lively discussion in a class held in a meeting room because there is no classroom available. Walking through the cafeteria, you will find students sitting on the hallway floor to eat lunch due to a cramped lunchroom.

These have become realities in Yarmouth High School, and the faculty and students have adapted well. Yet, this can only happen for so long before overcrowding creates a significant impact on our education. Committing to keeping education an integral part of Yarmouth will always pay off for all our town’s citizens.
