I live on Hurricane Road in Falmouth and have for over 40 years. I have seen the houses grow on this road and also the speeding. To each his own, but since I live near a stop sign, people should be slowing down by my house. I am writing now because at 9:45 one morning I reached my limit. I was just setting my recycling bin filled with recycling on the side of the road. It was like a comedy skit: as I bent down, an SUV went speeding past me and hit me with a big spray of water. My clothes, hair and face were drenched. I got gravel on my face and in my hair. I couldn’t believe it. Not a great way to start the day. Thanks for the shower.
