Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits and the lights that illuminated Mill Creek Park on Dec. 7. The crowd-pleasing perennial favorites were there – the horse-drawn carriages, Santa in his City Council workshop, grilled hot dogs, hot popcorn, hot cocoa – and the amazing voices of South Portland middle and high school chorus students.

At the countdown, the trees came sparkling to life and the singers filled the air with seasonal sounds. It truly is a magical time of year, and this year’s HolidayFest was a delight for all. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our generous partners, without whom we could not bring such joy and wonder to the children (of all ages) of our community.
